Delhi Capitals winning a very crucial match against RCB yesterday by 7 wickets not only confirmed its entry among the top league of IPL 2020 but also its position is now at number 2 in the elite club. 

Royal Challengers Bangalore not letting DC cruising past them within 17.3 Overs also ensured a place among top four. Whether or not they keep their position at 3 will be decided on the outcome of what happens today in the match between MI and SRH. RCB batting first could reach a moderate score of 152/7 for usual tight penetrative bowling of protean pacers Nortje (3/33) and Rabada (2/30). Indian internationals Rahane (60) and Dhawan (54) batted smartly letting their team winning by 7 wickets. Back into winning momentum DC has confirmed a tie with the leader of the pack MI either to qualify straight for the final or play against the winner of number 3 and 4 qualifiers. 

The fate of the tournament delicately poised for four teams DC, RCB, SRH and KKR delicately poised for three positions alongside with MI for the business session of IPL 2020. Delhi Capitals (DC) appeared at DSC Dubai for a very important encounter with RCB yesterday. Win within 17.3 Overs would have opened window for KKR out stripping RCB through better-run rate. DC managed winning by the 19th over. RCB stayed qualified despite of the loss. DC win placed them at number two in the point’s table. Positions one, two and three are confirmed as MI, DC and RCB. The last match set for today is between MI and SRH. An outright win by SRH will take them straight into number two. KKR will qualify if MI wins. What an exciting IPL 2020? In response two masters of Indian cricket Rahane (60) and Dhawan (50) let DC cruise past RCB set target in 19 overs taking the team to number two position. Virat Kohli and his men ensured that RCB survives beyond 17.3 overs. Otherwise KKR would have overtaken them on Net Run Rate. Rahane innings of 60 scored of 46 deliveries was classic with no strokes played in anger. Dhawan played in his usual merry way. 

This very IPL2020 has already witnessed too many topsy turvy. It has been a bookies delight so far. Even till the last match of the tournament no one knows whether KKR or SRH will enter the elite club of top four. When you gamble you win some and loose some.
