Former Bangladesh captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has returned to training in individual capacity at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium on Tuesday after eight months.
Mashrafe is recovering from a hamstring injury, spent some time running before he bowled a limited overs at the BCB Academy Ground.
He was accompanied by BCB’s physiotherapist Tushar kanti Hawlader, who assessed Mashrafe’s fitness.
"He worked on his own fitness after recovering from Covid-19. He wants to get in shape by shedding weight and I'm helping him in this connection,” said Hawlader.
Mashrafe was seen last playing an international match against Zimbabwe in March this year before his announcement of quitting ODI captaincy.
