The dog fight of two top guns has reached crescendo. The sea saw battle of the two evenly matched team after 4 matches stands locked at 2-2. The final match will now act as photo finish. The high scoring match yesterday on a flat wicket almost went to the wire . Three budding youngsters Suryakumar Yadav (57), Sresh Iyer (37) and Rishab Pant (30) standing tall after Rohit ,Rahul and Kohli getting out cheap set a challenging total of 185/8 . The debutant Yadav was the most impressive defying fast and furious Archer and Wood . The depth of diversity of Indian resources was once again demonstrated after Ishan Kishan impressing other day. 

England also did not die wondering. Ben Stokes ( 46) and Jason Roy ( 40) also cruised across the steep target. But Indian bowlers bowling smartly as a team just squeezed them out. England finishing at 178/8 lost by 8 runs.  There is so little choose between the two teams a moments lack of attention tilts the delicate balance. 

This was the first match of the four where the team winning the toss and letting the opponent to bat lost. Once again India got a little bit uneasy start. Rohit could not fire though debutant Yadav looked supremely confident in his debut innings. Playing several aggressive and attractive strokes he impressed one and all. Rahul once again failed to spread his wings and Kohli was fooled by crafty Adil Rashid with sharp turning Googly. Two youngsters Yadav and Pant matching stroke for stroke kept the momentum going. Yadav scoring fifty on debut got out scoring 57. Iyer and Pant added another quick 34. India posted a challenging score of 185/8.

England’s response was thwarted with Buttler and Malan failing to fire. Roy (40) , Stokes ( 46) , Bairstow (25) created momentum. But Indian bowlers taking wicket regularly restricted England to 175/8 . 

Winning the match by 8 runs India squared the series 2-2 .
