New Zealand won the one-day international (ODI) series with one match remaining as they defeated Bangladesh by five wickets in the second match at Hagley Oval, Christchurch on Tuesday.
New Zealand scored 275 in reply to Bangladesh-set 272-run target with 10 balls remaining.
Earlier New Zealand captain Tom Latham sent the visiting side to bat first after winning the toss and the visiting side scored 271 runs losing six wickets in 50 overs.
In the first match of the series, Bangladesh lost the match by eight wickets after posting only 131 runs on the board.
The third and final ODI of the series will be played at Basin Reserve, Wellington, on March 26. After the ODI series, both the teams will play a three-match T20I series.
