52 Balls 101 by Devdutt Padikkai and 180 runs unbroken ist wicket partnership between him and Virat Kohli earned RCB a massive 10 wickets victory over Rajasthan Royals. With 4 out of four wins RCB is now clear leader at the top of the table in IPL 2021. Before IPL 2021 very few persons knew Padikkai. But with every match the young boy of Kerala continues to impress everyone. IPL every year produces new heroes. India now abounds in quality cricketers at all position. 

RR ran into immediate trouble when RCB sent them into bat. In no time they were 4/43 with all top guns back in the hut. Riyan Parag (25) and Shibam Dube (46) did the resurrection for a while. When they were gone Rahul Tewatia’s (40) ensured that RR puts up a challenging score of 179/9 . Even then the score appeared at least 25-30 runs too less considering the easy paced Mumbai wicket. Mohammad Siraj (3/27) , Jamieson ( 1/28) and Washington Sundar ( 1/23)  made early in roads . Harshal Patel ( 3/47)  did the damage at the end . 

RCB in response started tweeting right from the start . Run started flowing from the bats of Kohli and Padikkai like water from fountains. The youngster even stroked better than  his captain. Padikkai in his 52  balls unbeaten 101 stroke 11 fours and 6 sixes. Kohli playing second fiddle scored unbeaten 72 in 47 balls. RCB overhauled 72 in 47 balls. RCB overhauled the RR set target in 16.3 overs. After four matches RCB stays at the top with 8 points. They are looking good for business glory or even for greater glory in 2021.
