Brave Zimbabwe bowling brilliantly and fielding smartly won its first ever T20 International against strong Pakistan defending a well below par score of 118/9. This evidenced the significant improvement of Zimbabwean cricket in the recent past starting from its matches against Afghanistan seen in UAE. 

They could only manage scoring 118/9 braving the strong Pakistan attack. It was thought that Pakistan would make it easy making it 2-0 in the series.  But Zimbabwe batted so well as planned and fielded with heart that Pakistan succumbed even scaling across the target. Pakistan got bundled out for 99 in 19.5 overs. 

Pakistan is a formidable force in T20 International. Only few days back they won Test, ODI and T20 series against South Africa. Even on the day champion Pakistani batsman Babar Azam was looking great to win the match single handed. But as soon as he got out scoring 41 Pakistan batting crumbled like cookies. Luke Jongwe bowling brilliantly rocked Pakistan. It was wonderful first T20 I win for Zimbabwe against Pakistan. Credit must be given to Brendan Taylor for smartly marshaling his resources.
