DHAKA: New Zealand scored 305 for six in their first innings on the third day of the second Test Match against Bangladesh taking lead by 18 runs in the capital Wednesday.
After the over-95.3, BJ Watling and Doug Bracewell are in crease with 19 and 8 respectively at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium.
Before going back to pavilion, Corey J Anderson and Ross Taylor scored 116 and 53 runs respectively.
Shakib Al Hassan bagged four wickets while Al-Amin Hossain picked up one.
Earlier in the morning, New Zealand resumed their innings with Kane Williamson’s 28 and Ross Taylor’s 37.
The visiting New Zealand managed to crawl to 107 for 3 at stumps on day-2 Tuesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, Bangladesh lost all wickets to score 282 runs in 74.5 over in the first innings.
Tamim Iqbal, Mominul Haque, Marshal Ayub, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim, Abdur Razzak and Anamul Haque returned to the pavilion scoring 95, 47, 41, 20, 18, 13 and 7 runs respectively.
N Wagner bagged five wickets, Sodhi three while Anderson and Boult got one wicket each.
Earlier in the day, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first in the first innings of Second Test.
