Bangladesh has appointed Portugal’s Mario Lemos as the coach of Bangladesh football team ahead of four-nation football tournament slated to be held in Sri Lanka from November 8.

Bangladesh Football Federation vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed confirmed the matter.

Mentionable, Mario Lemos was serving as the coach of Abahani Limited of Bangladesh.

Lemos is appointed for the Sri Lanka tour in mind, Nabil said, adding as he has been working in Dhaka for the past 2-3 years, he is aware of the strengths and weaknesses of the players and our playing system.
