DHAKA: Shakib Al Hasan, world top cricket all-rounder, is suffering from dengue fever.

The cricketer also ruled out of taking rest in the New Zealand series.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) issued a press release in this regard on Tuesday.

Earlier, No-1 test all-rounder Shakib was withdrawn from the first ODI against New Zealand as he has been suffering from fever since Monday afternoon and he was admitted to Apollo Hospitals.
