DHAKA: Nokia now expects sale of its Devices & Services business and license its patents to Microsoft to close in April.

This compares with Nokia’s previous expectation that the deal would close in Q1 2014.

The sale was announced in September 2013 and Nokia insisted that both parties remain committed to the transaction.

Closing of the deal is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.

They have already received most of the required regulatory approvals, including approvals from the European Commission and the US Department of Justice.

The deal is pending approvals from certain antitrust authorities in Asia which are still conducting their reviews, reports telecompaper.com.
