DHAKA: Digital World 2015, an international event of ICT sector is going to be held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in city from February 9 to 12 next. 

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Information and communications technology (ICT) division of the government, have signed a contact with the event partners.

ICT Division and BASIS jointly are going to organize the program as the previous year.

Bangladesh Computer Samity (BCS), Association of Mobile Telecom Operators (AMTOB), Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB), Bangladesh Association of Call Center and Outsourcing (BACCO), Bangladesh ICT Journalist Forum (BIJF), Bangladesh Women in IT (BWIT) and CTO Forum have been associated with BASIS for making the program a success.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed separately with the organizations on Saturday at the BASIS Board Room.

Acting BASIS President Russell T. Ahmed, Director of BCS Ali ashfak, President of ISPAB Akteruzzaman Manju, President of BIJF Muhammad Khan, President of BWIT Luna Shamsuddoha, President of CTO Forum Tapan Kanti Sarker signed the MoU on behalf their organizations.

Among others, ICT Secretary Shyam Sunder Sikder, Executive Director of BCC Ashraful Islam, Executive Council of BASIS and officials from other related organizations were present at the program.
