FROM BICC PREMISES: A three-day ‘Summer Laptop Fair’ has begun at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) in city on Friday (May 13).

Science and technology minister Yeafesh Osman inaugurated the fair as chief guest at 4:00pm on the day.

The fair, organized by EXPO Maker, will remain open from 10.00am-8.00pm.

According to the organizers, ICT products of local and international companies are being displayed at the fair comprising four pavilions, seven mini-pavilions and 54 stalls.

The visitors will get change to learn about the latest ICT products and purchase them with discount, they added.

Ticket, priced at Tk 30 including VAT, will be free for students and specially challenged.

The proceeds will go to the cancer patient Jannatul Ferdousi Soma for her treatment.
