CHATTOGRAM:  Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel urged entrepreneurs and businessmen to invest in IT sector as it is very potential. 

The minister inaugurated the 2nd Chattogram IT fair at World Trade Center in city’s Agrabad on Saturday (January 26).

Deputy Minister said, “The government is keen to expand IT sector in Chattogram. IT Park and IT village are under construction. Hopefully, IT city will be in Chattogram city.”

Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel said we are marching forward in the IT sector. IT is needed for food processing, marketing as well. In this case, entrepreneurs and businessmen have to come forward to invest.

IT fair is, open for all till January 28, jointly arranged by Chittagong Chamber and Society of Chittagong IT Professional (SCITP).

A total of 58 stalls of more than 30 organizations are showcasing products in the conference hall.

President of SCITP and Chittagong Chamber vice president Sayed Jamal Ahmed attended the event.
