Banks in the industrial areas will remain open today and next two days.

Bangladesh Bank issued a directive in this regard on April 13.

According to the directive, banks in the industrial areas will remain open from April 19-21 to facilitate payment of garment workers' salary, Eid bonus, allowances and export-import activities. 

Clients will be able to do banking in between 9am-1pm on April 19 and 20, while on April 21, the transaction will on from 9:30am-12:30pm 

But the banks will remain open till 3pm.

Besides, Bangladesh Bank's clearing system will be operational during this time.
