The land ports of the country have reopened after the vacation of the Eid-ul-Azha. The import of green chilli began yesterday. The price of green chilli has started to decline following the import news.

Earlier, per kg, green chilli was sold at Tk 120 to Tk 140 in the capital just two weeks ago of the Eid-ul-Azha. However, the price of green chilli was Tk 300-Tk 400 per kg a few days back of the festival of the Muslims. Later, the price of green chilli did not decline. Rather, the price increased manifold.

Country witnessed the sale of green chilli at Tk 700 to Tk 800 per kg in different places.   

But, the import of green chilli resulted in lesser price in the country.
