The oath and introduction ceremony for the newly formed body of Narayanganj unit Bangladesh Jeweller's Association (BAJUS) was held on Sunday.

The meeting was held at the local Food Fantasy restaurant on Bangabandhu Road in Narayanganj city.

Presided over by the newly-elected president Hanif Uddin Salim, the meeting was attended by 27 members of the new body, and president and general secretaries of five thana units.

Members of Narayanganj District Election Board Rahmat Ullah Farooq, Asaduzzaman Asad, Appeal Board Members Golam Mohiuddin and Nasir Uddin congratulated the new committee.

The newly-elected president hoped to meet BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir seeking a convenient time to organise a grand inauguration ceremony in Narayanganj district in his presence.

General Secretary of the new committee Monir Hossain Khan, Vice-presidents Shahidullah, Sattar Khandkar and Amir Hossain, Assistant General Secretaries Abhijit Roy and Farukul Islam, Siddhirganj Thanaunit  Bajus President Omar Farooq Rana, General Secretary Pradip Chandra Dey, Organising Secretary Md Nesar Uddin and Treasurer Aminul Islam also spoke.
