Maiden ferry service for passengers, vehicles launched

Two RoRo ferry services for carrying passengers and vehicles were inducted in inland water services for the first time.

State Minister for Shipping Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury inaugurated the ferries at a ceremony at Hasnabad of Keraniganj in the capital this morning (September 7).

Two ferries named ‘Carnival Cruise’ and 'Carnival Waive’ of Carnival Cruise Line Limited will run commercially from September 15.
