Businessmen for consensus; threaten tougher move

DHAKA: Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) president Kazi Akram Uddin Ahmed threatened that if country’s current political situation does not improve then they will enforce harder movement.
 
He came up with the assertion while addressing a protest rally arranged by business organisations at city’s Motijheel area Sunday.

FBCCI president said that businessmen were forced to come out on streets to stop political violence.

He also said that in the name of Harta and blockade, violence is continuing, road communication is cut off, blasting petrol bomb the lives of innocent people were taken.

Kazi Akram said, “We want a hartal-blockade free Bangladesh.”

Meanwhile, FBCCI former president AK Azad, vice-president Helal and other directors and leaders were present in the rally.
