The government has announced a reduction in the prices of selected petroleum products, adjusting them to align with international market rates.
The new prices will come into effect from November 1.
The updated price list reveals a decrease of Tk0.50 for diesel and kerosene, bringing their prices down to Tk105 per litre.
Meanwhile, the prices for octane and petrol remain unchanged at Tk125 and Tk121 per litre, respectively, according to a notification issued by the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
This decision aims to alleviate consumer costs amid ongoing fluctuations in global oil prices.
