Gold prices in Bangladesh have dropped once again, just 10 days after the previous adjustment, according to an announcement by the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS).
The price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by Tk 3,569 per bhori (11.664 grams), setting the new rate at Tk 168,976 per bhori.
The revised pricing will take effect from Sunday (May 4).
The decision was made today during a meeting of the BAJUS Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring.
