DHAKA: Both two bourses of the country witnessed mixed trend in share-price indices on Monday.

The broad index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, shed over one point to stand at 4,447 at the close on the second trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 83,532 with transaction at Tk 4,324 million. Of the issues traded, 80 advanced, 190 declined and 27 remained unchanged.

GP topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 489 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were MPETROLEUM, SQURPHARMA, LAFSURCEML, WATACHEM, MERCANBANK, DELTALIFE, HEIDELBCEM, BSRMSTEEL and OLYMPIC.

Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 8468 by gaining over zero point.

Out of the issues traded, 51 gained, 140 declined and 25 remained unchanged.
