Scope remains to whiten money

DHAKA: Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Saturday said that scope will remain for whitening black money through investing in housing sector.

The minister came up with the assertion while discussing on the budget in national parliament in city.

The proposed budget of Fiscal Year 2014-15 is going to be passed on June 29. Before that Finance Minister AMA Muhith brought some amendments. 

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined the discussion and proposed to impose surcharge in mobile phone which will be used in education sector.  

The proposed budget of FY 2014-15 is Tk 250,506 crore which was 222,491 crore in FY 2013-14.
