DHAKA: Key share price indices at both Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a daylong positive trend on Tuesday after a long wait.

However, DSEX, the prime index of the DSE, reached at 4,656.47 points by 2:35pm, starting from 4,619.00 points in the morning.

Tuesday’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were Eastern Lubricants, United Insurance, Saiham Cotton Mills, BD-Thai Aluminum, Islami Insurance Bangladesh, ACI Formulations, Asia Pacific General Insurance, Standard Insurance, Gemini Sea Food, and Sinobangla Industries.

Nevertheless, CNATEX topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 91.41 million having changed hands, after the trading.

The other turnover leaders of the major bourse were AAMRATECH, LAFSURCEML, GP, MJLBD, AGNISYSL, UCBL, SQURPHARMA, CVOPRL, and BXPHARMA.

On the other hand, the port city bourse, CSE, also saw a positive trend round the day with its Selective Category Index, CSCX.

The index, which was in 8,562.31 points at 10:30am, reached up to 8,643.08 points while closing the day’s trading.
