DHAKA: Bangladesh Bank governor Dr Atiur Rahman distributed certificates among the participants of a two-day Adaptive Leadership Development workshop on Monday.

Principal of Ignite Leadership Consulting conducted the workshop, said a press release on Tuesday.

The curriculum of the two-day workshop included group dynamics, strategic thinking, understanding the distinction between leadership and authority, tools for diagnosing problems and mobilizing resources to make progress on tough organizational challenges, and techniques for leading change in a social system. 25 deputy general managers and joint directors of Bangladesh Bank participated in the workshop.

Addressing the certificate giving program, Dr Rahman said, “I congratulate for facilitating this engaging workshop which has challenged the mindset of our senior officers and introduced them to new concepts and tools for the practice of adaptive leadership.”

Bangladesh Bank is committed to leading by example and moving forward we hope to continue more such training to improve the quality of leadership in our organization. Our dream is to become one of the best central banks not only in South Asia but also in the world, he added.
