DHAKA: The Executive Committee of National Economic Council (ECNEC) Tuesday approved six development projects involving a cost of Tk 52,778.11-crore.

The approval came from a meeting of the government’s highest policy-making body at the NEC conference room in city with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

Of the cost of the projects, Tk 40,481.75-crore would come from government exchequer while respective offices will finance Tk 117.76-crore and Tk 12,178.60 crore will be provided as project aid.
