DHAKA:   Bangladesh Bank has suspended Mobile Financial services (MFS) for two days ahead of the 11th national election slated for December 30.

All MFS providers have been asked to keep all types of MFS suspended totally from 5 pm on December 28 to 5 pm on December 30. 

However, the directive allows MFS from personal account up to Tk 5,000 from 5:00pm on December 29 (Saturday) to 5:00pm on December 30 (Sunday).

Following an instruction given by the Election Commission, Bangladesh Bank issued a directive on Thursday evening (December 27).
