DHAKA: Bangladeshi companies have received order to import products worth around Tk 200 crore in this year’s Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) which is 35 percent higher than the previous year.

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi made the disclosure on Saturday (Feb 9).  

He was addressing the concluding ceremony of 24th DITF. 

In last year’s DITF, the local companies got the order worth Tk 165.96 crore which has increased to around Tk 200 crore this year, he said.

Beginning from Jan 8, the trade fair ended on Feb 9.
