DHAKA: Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s bourses on Thursday.

The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over seven points to stand at 4,013 at the close on the last trading day of the week.

Trade deals stood at 90,248 with transaction at Tk 3030 million. Of the issues traded, 177 advanced, 97 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

UNIQUEHRL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 149 million having changed hands.

The other turnover leaders were JMISMDL, CMCKAMAL, ARGONDENIM, GENNEXT, UNITEDAIR, MPETROLEUM, RAHIMAFOOD, GP and DELTALIFE.
 
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing up to 7,843 by gaining over 42 points.
 
Out of the issues traded, 125 gained, 70 declined and 23 remained unchanged.
