RAK Ceramics, a listed multinational ceramic tiles and sanitaryware maker is set to construct a new factory to produce value-added products.

Snitaryware giant has moved to construct the factory at 100 bighas of land in Gazipur at the cost of Tk 902 crore in this regard.

Having daily production capacity of 15,000 square metres, the factory is expected to go on commercial operation by 2025.

The new factory will meet growing demand for tiles compared to RAK’s current annual capacity of 10.32 million square metres of tiles and 1.45 million pieces of sanitaryware.
