Two students of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) died in the devastating fire that razed through the building housing the Kacchi Bhai outlet on Bailey Road in the capital on Thursday (March 1) night.

The deceased BUET students were identified as Lamisha Islam and Nahian Amin. Lamisha was the student of Mechanical Engineering Department while Nahian was from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE). 

They were the students of the 22nd batch.

The home district of Nahian Amin is Barisal. However, the details about Lamisha could not be known yet.

At least 46 people died in the blaze that broke out at a seven-storey building in Dhaka’s Bailey Road on Thursday night.
