Dhaka University (DU) authorities have announced the suspension of all classes and examinations from 7 to 10 September due to the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) and hall union elections.
The university confirmed the decision in a statement on Saturday (30 August).
According to the schedule, voting for the Ducsu election will be held on 9 September.
The suspension aims to ensure a smooth election process and facilitate the convenience of students.
