The results of this year's HSC and equivalent examinations were published on Thursday (October 16).
Students dissatisfied with their grades may seek re-scrutiny from Friday (October 17), through Thursday (October 23).
The application window and procedures were detailed in a notice signed by Professor S M Kamal Uddin Haider, Controller of Examinations, Dhaka Education Board.
Applications must be filed online at the official portal — rescrutiny.eduboardresults.gov.bd — and no manual submissions will be accepted, the notice said.
Applicants must provide a mobile phone number to receive an SMS once the re-scrutiny results are issued.
The fee is Tk 150 per paper; for two-paper subjects, candidates must apply for both papers. Payments are accepted via bKash, Nagad, Sonali Seba, DBBL Rocket, or Teletalk SIM.
This year’s HSC and equivalent exams were held from June 26 to August 19, with 1,235,661 candidates participating. Of them, 726,960 passed, resulting in an overall pass rate of 58.83%; 69,097 students achieved a GPA of 5.
