Authorities at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (Kuet) have filed a case against 400 unnamed individuals over Tuesday's attacks on general students.

The case was lodged by the university’s Security Inspector Md Moniruzzaman Liton at Khan Jahan Ali police station. 

Kuet also formed a four-member probe committee, directing it to submit a report within three days.

At least 50 students were injured in clashes with Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) members over a student politics ban. 

The administration suspended academic activities until February 28 amid rising tensions.
