Pro-BNP and pro-Jamaat teachers at Dhaka University have demanded the arrest of Sociology Professor Dr. Zeenat Huda for her alleged role in encouraging state-backed violence during last year’s uprising.

In a statement on Sunday, the "White Panel" teachers condemned Dr. Huda for continuing to act as Dhaka University Teachers' Association (DUTA) general secretary despite her expired term, accusing her of destabilizing the university. 

The statement was signed by White Panel Convener Professor Dr. Morshed Hasan Khan and Joint Conveners Professor Dr. Abdus Salam and Professor Dr. Abul Kalam Sarkar.

They called for justice over her pro-government stance and support for violence against protesters.
