DHAKA: The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC)-2012 under the Open University were published on Thursday noon.

According to the results 72.97 percent pupils have passed the examinations.

Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid informed media at a press conference saying that a total of 44,773 students have passed the examination.

Among the pupils 25 thousand 178 are male students and 19 thousand 595 are female.

A total of 27 students have earned GPA-5 while three thousand 561 have earned GPA-4 and 10 thousand and 147 have earned GPA-3.5.

The examinations started on September 20 of 2013 and ended at November 8. The exam was held on Friday and Saturday.
