RANGPUR: Twelve teachers of Begum Rokeya University have resigned from the administrative posts as they have ignored in many decisions by the authority.  

The 12 teachers tendered their resign papers to the vice-chancellor Dr Nurun-Nabi at 12:15pm on Saturday. 

Resigned teachers are examination controller Dr Morshed Hossain, Sheikh Mujib Hall provost Abul Kalam M Faridul Alam, house tutor Rasidul Azam Khan, Khandaker Jahangir Alam, Mustafizur Rahman, Fajilutunnesa Hall provost acting provost Jahid Hossain, house tutor HM Tariqul Islam, Khandaker Sharmin Ashrafi, Tasnim Homaida, Mostafizur Rahman, cyber store director Abul Kalam M Faridul Islam, library director Dr Matiur Rahman, assistant proctor Shah Jaman and professor Sarifa Salua Rina.

Professor Sarifa Salua Rina alleged that vice-chancellor Dr Nurun-Nabi has neglected and avoided their opinions in many issues in different times. 

On the other hand, denying the allegation, Dr Nurun-Nabi said he does not make any behave that persuade to quit the teachers from their posts.
