DAHAKA: Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday stressed on the necessity of quality education rather than thousands of students scoring top results.

The minister was addressing a prize giving ceremony at Bijoy Auditorium of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) in the city’s Mirpur area at the night.

Obidul doubted that how much the students become knowledgeable through the existing examination methods,

Quality education as well as providing of that education is necessary, he added.

BUP vice chancellor major general Sheikh Mamun Khaled, Rohto-Mentholatum (Bangladesh) Limited managing director Ken Arai and BUP’s teachers and officials also attended the program.
