DHAKA: A seven-day workshop on software is going on at University of Dhaka (DU) in the capital.

The workshop, starting from Wednesday, will continue till February 1. There is no registration fee for this event.

US-based center for human development Bangladesh (CHDBD) has organized the program, said a press release on Friday.

The workshop, however, is aimed to develop skills on quickbooks, excel and career of the students, the release added.

Moreover, the organization will also provide certificates after the training.

DU lecturers Dr M Altaf Jalil, Dr M Shariyat Ullah and Dr M Taufiqul Islam, among others, were also present at the inaugural of the workshop, chaired by CHDBD founder and managing director Manzur Chowdhury, also the chief trainer of the workshop.
