JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY: A two-day information technology exposition with the slogans of ‘ICT for Environment’ will be held on Jahangirnagar University campus in Savar from April 24.

Country’s one of popular news portals banglanews24.com will be the media partner of the exhibition, to be organized by Jahangirnagar University IT society.

The ICT fair, first of its kind, will uphold issues of outsourcing and cyber crime.

The organizers will also arrange a workshop on 3D and game development, a playlet on technology and a concert.

IT related project-show on mobile and web apps, IT quiz and gaming competition will also feature the fair.

University vice-chancellor, and also the chief patron of the society, will formally inaugurate the fair at 10:00am on the second day of the exhibition following a seminar at Zahir Raihan Auditorium of the university.

Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid will be present at the seminar as chief guest. Dr Enamur Rahman MP will also attend the program.

According to the organizers, students from some 30 universities and 10 collages will participate in the fair.

JU IT Society president Mohammad Ekramul Hossain Shubha said that they have already complete the preparation and hoped the event will be successful.
