DHAKA: The honors fourth year final examinations under the 2013 academic year of National University (NU) have been rescheduled to begin from July 11 instead of June 25.

The new schedule of the examination is available on the university website (www.nu.edu.bd).

Earlier on June 1, the university authorities published the examination schedules.

According to the schedules, third year final examinations were scheduled to begin from June 25 while fourth year final examinations from 10 June.

But the forth year’s examinees rejected the schedule saying that students who are likely to take the improvement tests have to face much pressure. They are likely to get less time during the test.

Since then, students began demonstration in demand of rescheduling the tests. They also warned of going for tougher movement unless their demands are met.

In face of student demonstration, the university authorities decided to reschedule the test and deferred the examination date on June 25.
