DHAKA: The result of HSC first year admission for the academic session 2015-16 has been published early Monday after 72-hours of declared date.

Sub-committee of Intra-Education Board published the first merit list of students for HSC admission around 12:30am where 10,93,374 students have been enlisted.

Education Secretary Nazrul Islam Khan published the result in a press briefing in Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) of the city.

The list is available in http://xiclassadmission.gov.bd , mobile SMS and in the education board.

The colleges can also download the result from education board website using their password, the secretary added.

President of the sub-committee and also Dhaka Education Board Chairman Abu Bakar Siddique confirmed the matter to banglanews after publishing the results.

College inspector of Dhaka Education Board Asfakus Salehin told banglanews that second merit list will be published on July 6 and those who did not get chance to apply; now they can also submit their application.

Colleges will enrol students on the basis of the first merit list from June 29 to July 2 without late fees.  But, with paying late fee, the admission is open till July 8, he added.

He also said that second merit list for college enrollments will be published on July 6 and students can get admission till July 10.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid on Sunday night told banglanews that the class will start from July 1.
