DHAKA: Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid categorically said that the problems of teachers will be solved soon.

The minister made this assertion to the media during the inaugural session of a training course for teachers at LEGD Bhaban in city’s Agargaon area on Thursday (January 14).

‘It is not easy to solve the problems of teachers. But we are trying for an acceptable and honorable solution of the problems.’

However, teachers of the public universities across the country have been observing work abstention for consecutive four days on Thursday.

According to the minister, the government is supporting the teachers.

He opined that the teachers will be honored if they are appointed centrally through a national list of talented people.
