DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate National Primary Education Week in city on Thursday (February 4).

The event will uphold the slogan of “Quality Education, Nation’s Promise” and feature other activities related to the promotion of primary education.

The PM will launch the event in city’s Osmani Memorial Auditorium at 10:00am on the day.

Moreover, chairman of parliamentary standing committee for primary and mass education ministry Motaher Hossain will be present as special guest at the ceremony.

Ministry secretary M Humayun Khalid will deliver welcoming speech at the event, to be chaired by primary and mass education minister Mostafizur Rahman.

The ministry will celebrate the week till February 10.
