DHAKA: Federation of Bangladesh University Teachers Association (FBUTA) announced that the suspension of work abstention program of university teachers will be extended till February 23.

An association meeting held on Thursday (February 4) made this decision, said FBUTA president Farid Uddin Ahmed to banglanews.

Earlier, the university teachers’ association observed work abstention to press their demand of removal of salary and status discrimination in 8th national pay scale.
