UODA’s street painting in honor of martyrs Friday

DHAKA: Like previous years, School of Development Alternative (SODA), College of Development Alternative (CODA) and University of Development Alternative (UODA), are going to recall the victims of genocide carried out by the Pakistan army on the night of March 25, 1971 with street painting on Manik Mia Avenue in Dhaka.

The programme will begin at dusk on March 25 and it will continue till dawn on March 26, said a press release on Wednesday.

The day will also be commemorated with music, poetry recitation, street play, film screening, photo exhibition and reminiscence of the Liberation War.

People from all walks of life, including students and teachers of the organizations, will take part in the programme.

Founder and president of SODA, CODA and UODA Professor Mujib Khan, Professor Dr. Emajuddin Ahmed, Vice Chancellor of UODA, and invited guests will be present.
