DHAKA: Education minister Nurul Islam Nahid said that country’s primary education has been upgraded from class V to class VIII and this will come under primary and mass education ministry.

He made the disclosure after a meeting of national education policy implementation and monitoring central committee at secretariat in city on Wednesday (May 18).

The minister further said that they have taken the decision as the education policy had mentioned to upgrade primary education from class V to class VIII.
