DHAKA: University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman Professor Abdul Mannan will disclose university involvement with militancy, if there is any.

He will make this disclosure at a press conference at UGC auditorium in city at 11:00am on Sunday (July 31).

At the upcoming conference, the chairman will also uphold several initiatives regarding anti-militancy awareness among the students.

Meanwhile, UGC has asked the university authorities to arrange human chain and rally against militant activities on their respective campuses on August 1.

The UGC invitation on press conference sent on Saturday (July 30) further said that the chairman also talk about the closure of private Darul Ihsan University and of the closure of outer campuses of other universities.
