JAGANNATH UNIVERSITY: The authorities of Jagannath University (JnU) have taken a decision to open three more departments.

The decision was taken in the 38th emergency academic council meeting with vice-chancellor Professor Dr. Mijanur Rahman in the chair on Sunday (August 8).

The three departments are -- Land Law and Management, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.

Students will be admitted in these departments from the session 2016-17.

JnU registrar Engineer Md. Ohiduzzaman confirmed the matter to banglanews.
