DHAKA: Over 24-lakh students will participate in Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations scheduled to be held on November 1.

Education minister Nurul Nahid said the examinations will be held as per schedule and there is no doubt about it.

He made the assertion at a press conference in the ministry conference room in secretariat in city on Sunday (October 23).

A total of 2,410,015 students will sit for the upcoming JSC and JDC examinations, he added.

Education secretary Sohrab Hossain, primary education department director general (DG) SM Wahiduzzaman and other ministry officials were also present at the event.
