DHAKA: A five-member delegation led by Prof. Dr. Gui-Fa Su, Vice-President of Guangxi Normal University, China called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university on Thursday (December 22).

Other team members were Prof. Li Dongmei and Prof. Zhen-Feng Chen and Zeng Jie. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and Guangxi Normal University, China. 

The VC said an excellent friendly relation between Bangladesh and China has been prevailing for a long time.  He apprised the guests of a brief history of Dhaka University as well as Bangladesh.
